1. Ruby's Piano Practice

Written by Paddy Granleese. Ruby needs to practice "Twinkle Twinkle" for the school music recital but Max keeps interrupting her, looking for his lost Fire Truck. It's only when Ruby finally manages to play "Twinkle Twinkle" all the way through that she discovers where the Fire Truck was.

2. Max's Bath

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. Max is still hungry after Ruby makes him a strawberry jam and lettuce sandwich because the sandwich isn't in him, it's all over him! Ruby decides Max needs a bath. Because he's still hungry, he keeps getting sherbet ice cream and grape juice and gets them into the tub.

3. Max's Bedtime

Adaptation written by Kate Barris. It's Max's bedtime, but Max can't sleep without his red, rubber elephant.He tells Ruby about it. Then Max messes up his bed. So Ruby makes it up. Ruby searches all over his room, but the elephant is nowhere to be found. So Max keeps searching for it and making a mess. So Ruby brings her own toys to Max's bed to help him sleep. Soon there's no room for Max and then he finds his red rubber elephant! Then he goes to sleep in Ruby's bed.

4. Hide and Seek

Written by Paddy Granleese. Ruby plays Hide and Seek with Max but Max doesn't know the rules. Ruby tries to explain how they are supposed to take turns but Max just keeps hiding. Ruby eventually gets her turn to hide - but not the way she expects!

5. Max's Breakfast

Adaptation written by Kate Barris. Ruby has a special surprise for Max’s breakfast: A lovely sunnyside-up egg. Max would rather have strawberries for breakfast and tries every trick known to bunnies to avoid eating the egg.

6. Louise's Secret

Written by Kate Barris. . Ruby can’t wait for the phone to ring, because Louise has a big secret to tell her. But when the phone finally rings, Max chooses that exact time to play with the noisiest toys he can find. Ruby tries everything to keep Max from making noise so she can hear Louise’s secret, but never quite succeeds.

7. Max Misses the Bus

Written by Kate Barris. . Ruby is all ready to catch the next bus to Louise’s house, but Max wants to stay home and play with his toys. Ruby tries to convince Max to come, by promising to bring his toys along, but they miss bus after bus. Soon there’s only one bus left, and it looks like they’ll make it...

8. Max's Wormcake

Written by Kate Barris. Ruby has found the perfect place to grow marigolds in her dollies’ garden. Unfortunately it’s the same place Max has chosen to make a big gooey wormcake. As Ruby tries to teach Max how to plant marigolds so they’ll grow beautifully, Max uses Ruby’s advice to make his wormcake.

9. Max's Rainy Day

Written by Kate Barris. When it starts to rain, Ruby tells Max they have to go inside, but Max wants to play outside. So Ruby tries to help Max change into rainy day clothes. It takes so long that the rain has stopped by the time they get outside. But Max has the perfect solution: using the garden hose water as rain.

10. Camp Out

Written by Paddy Granleese. Max is excited when Ruby tells him they are going to sleep outside, until Ruby explains they are sleeping outside "inside" a tent. Max helps Ruby find everything they need for their camp out before Ruby realizes her mistake. He's filled up the tent and there's no room left for them. Max gets to sleep "outside" after all.

11. Ruby's Clubhouse

Written by Kate Barris. Ruby and Louise have made a clubhouse in the backyard, but it's private and Max isn't allowed in. After Max has made numerous efforts to find a way into the clubhouse, Ruby suggests he start his own clubhouse. It doesn't take long before she wishes she hadn't.

12. Max's Picnic

Written by Paddy Granleese. Max joins Ruby and Louise on a backyard bird watching expedition. But Max is far more interested in Ruby's picnic basket than he is in finding the elusive Speckled Warbler.

13. Max's Halloween

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. Ruby wants Max to be a Little Prince for Halloween but Max wants to be a Vampire. Ruby, dressed up as Cinderella, thinks Max will scare Grandma when they go trick-or-treating to her house. However, it's Ruby who gets the fright when Grandma answers the door.

14. Ruby's Leaf Collection

Written by Kate Barris. Ruby just has three leaves to collect and she'll have the best leaf collection book in the whole class. At first Ruby thinks Max is helping her when he creates a giant pile of leaves. But his leaves aren't for collecting; they're for jumping in!

15. The Blue Tarantula

Written by Paddy Granleese. Max gets frightened when Ruby reads the scary story he wanted to hear at bedtime, The Blue Tarantula. Now he doesn't want to sleep alone. Ruby assures Max there's no Blue Tarantula hiding in his room, but when Ruby starts hearing strange noises the tables are turned.

16. Ruby's Merit Badge

Written by Paddy Granleese. Bunny Scout Ruby tries to earn her very first Merit Badge. Max helps Ruby get her badge - only it's not the one she expected.

17. Max's Apple

Written by Paddy Granleese. Ruby and Louise's clapping game about making "apple pie" makes Max hungry for an apple (or so Ruby and Louise think). Ruby picks Max every apple she can find on the tree but Max is still not satisfied. What could Max possible want with all of those apples? Pie, of course!

18. Quiet Max

Written by Kate Barris. Mrs. Huffington has asked Ruby to keep an eye on a napping Baby Huffington, while she’s outside working in the garden. Ruby tells Max it’s their job to be quiet so Baby Huffington doesn’t wake up, but Max keeps making noise.

19. Max Cleans Up

Written by Paddy Granleese. Ruby wants to clean up Max's messy room but Max cannot throw anything away. Max helps Ruby by tidying the mess away – into his pocket!

20. Max's Cuckoo Clock

Written by Kate Barris. While Mrs. Huffington is out back at her garden tea party, Ruby’s job is to put Baby Huffington to sleep. But Max wants to play with the Huffington’s toy cuckoo clock and Ruby is sure it’s going to keep Baby Huffington awake.

21. Ruby's Jewelery Box

Written by Kate Barris. Max is intrigued by Ruby’s special jewelry box, and wants to see what’s inside, despite Ruby’s warnings to stay out. Even a “Keep Out” sign on the door isn’t enough to stop Max from taking just one little peek...

22. Bunny Cakes

Adaptation written by ###. Ruby wants to make an angel surprise cake with raspberry fluff icing for Grandma’s birthday. Max wants to make Grandma an earthworm cake with red-hot marshmallow squirters. After a few mishaps in the kitchen and a few trips to the grocer, Grandma gets both!

23. Bunny Party

Adaptation written by Kate Barris. Ruby is preparing a surprise birthday party for Grandma and has invited all her own dollies as guests. But Max thinks some of his toy friends should also be at the party. Before long, Ruby discovers there are too many guests and not enough chairs.

24. Bunny Money

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. Ruby has saved a wallet full of money to buy Grandma a music box with skating ballerinas on top for her birthday, but shopping with Max costs more than Ruby planned.

25. Max's Birthday

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. Max gets so many presents for his Birthday that he forgets to open one. So Ruby opens it for him and finds a ‘wind-up lobster’. Max is in for the chase of his life, only he’s the one being chased - by the lobster!

26. Max's New Suit

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. Ruby gets ready for a fancy Bunny Scout Party she's throwing at her house. Everything is perfect until Max refuses to wear his new suit.

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. Max is full of questions when Ruby hurries to bed on Christmas Eve so Santa Claus can come. No one ever stays up to see Santa. No one except Max.

29. Ruby's Snow Queen

Written by Kate Barris. Max wants to play with his new Christmas gift- a Screaming Green Alien Gorilla, but. Ruby wants him to help her build a beautiful Snow Queen. When they finally finish making the beautiful Snow Queen, and Grandma comes to admire her, they discover where Max’s missing Screaming Alien Gorilla has gone!

30. Max's Rocket Run

Written by Kate Barris. Ruby, Louise and Max are going on a sledding adventure! Ruby tells Max he can only go down the "Bunny Hill", while she and Louise take their first ride down the excitingly daring "Rocket Run." But before they get up the nerve, Max takes his own ride down Rocket Run.

31. Max's Chocolate Chicken

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. When Max and Ruby go on a chocolate egg hunt in the backyard they both find more than they bargained for.

32. Ruby's Beauty Shop

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. When Louise comes over to show Ruby her Deluxe Beauty Kit Max wants to play too, but Ruby insists a Beauty Parlor is no place for Max.

33. Max Drives Away

Adaptation written by Kate Barris. It's breakfast time and Max wants ice cream. Ruby says nobody eats ice cream for breakfast. So Max drives off in his pedal car and goes to the only person who understands.

*While Froggy appears in this vignette, Froggy isn't formally introduced until Max's Froggy Friend in season 2.

34. Ruby's Lemonade Stand

Written by Paddy Granleese. Business is booming for Ruby and Louise who open a lemonade stand to raise money for Bunny Scouts. It's a nickel a glass and going fast. Max loves lemonade but doesn't have a nickel to his name. Max opens a pancake stand to make money to buy lemonade but it's a bust. No one's buying until Grandma comes along - Ant and Acorn pancakes are her favorite!

35. Ruby's Rummage Sale

Written by Kate Barris. . Ruby and Louise gather together all of Ruby's old clothes and toys for a rummage sale, so they can raise money for a Bunny Scout Field Trip. Max wants to help, but everything Ruby wants to sell, Max wants to keep.

36. Ruby's Magic Act

Written by Kate Barris. . Ruby and Louise are practicing their magic act for the Bunny Scouts Talent Show and they need Max to be their volunteer from the audience. Max wants to know how they do their tricks, but Ruby and Louise insist they're magician secrets. In the end, Max is the one who surprises them with his own magic trick.

37. Max's Valentine

Adaptation written by Paddy Granleese. Valentine’s Day is a busy time for Ruby and Louise who make special Valentine cards for all their Bunny Scout friends. Max wants to make a Valentine but he's too little to use scissors and glue. Ruby gives Max the important job of taking her Valentines to the mail box and Max ends up making a special Valentine delivery of his own.

38. Ruby Flies a Kite

Written by Kate Barris. Max wants to help Ruby make and fly her kite, and Ruby knows kites are too difficult for little brothers. She tries to keep Max occupied with his own flying toys. But Max comes to the rescue when Ruby’s kite gets caught in a tree.

39. Ruby's Piano Practice II

Written by James Backshall. Ruby must play "Twinkle, Twinkle" again for the school concert, but Max keeps interrupting her, because he can not find his Tow Truck, but Ruby finds it after she plays the whole song.
