Xue Yuyang

Xue Yuyang

Xue Yuyang (zh-cp|c=薛玉洋|p=Xuē Yùyáng) (born October 4, 1982) is a Chinese basketball player. He is 7 feet tall and weighs 210 pounds, playing as a forward/center.

In 2003, Xue entered the National Basketball Association Draft, without official permission, and the Chinese authorities refused to let him play in the U.S. He was selected 57th overall by the Dallas Mavericks, who traded the pick to the Denver Nuggets. After not joining any NBA team, Xue represented the now-defunct Hong Kong Flying Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association. In 2005–2006, he played for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers.
