Imperial Eagle may refer to

* a former bird species which has now been split into two separate species:
** Eastern Imperial Eagle
** Spanish Imperial Eagle

An imperial eagle is also a heraldic symbol, used for example on coats of arms; such a depiction of an eagle may refer to one of the aforementioned species, or may simply be a generic stylised eagle, or other bird of prey. The most important uses of the term refer to:
* the Aquila (Roman), the Roman Empire's military standard.
* the Imperial Eagle (Reichsadler) used as a flag by the Holy Roman Empire and the German Empire (1871-1945)
* the French Imperial Eagle, the regimental symbol used by Napoleon Bonaparte's French armies
* the double-headed eagle, a national heraldic symbol used by the late Byzantine Empire, Imperial Russia and the Austrian Empire. This symbol is still used by Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and the Greek Orthodox Church.In the Western World, many nations adopted the eagle as a symbol in order to emulate the greatness of the Roman Empire.

Other uses:
* In the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the Imperial Eagle is a symbol of the Imperium. Space Marines often bear this symbol on their armor.
