Young Uttaranchal

The Young Uttaranchal is the Largest and Fastest growing community of Uttaranchalis (People of Uttaranchal - Garhwal & Kumaon) on Internet. The group is involved in various social activities.

It has played a major role in bringing together the People of Uttaranchal living in different part of India and the world under one banner. The group is striving to preserve the culture, traditions, music, songs and festivals of the Garhwal / Kumaon / Jaunsar and other regions of Uttarakhand.

The group is involved with Career Guidance of the students in the villages of Uttaranchal and had organizes Essay Writing Competition in Schools of Uttaranchal each year. Members have volunteered to help any student of Uttaranchal in issues related to Career Guidance and jobs.

Presently the group is working on preparing a Career Guidance Calendar for the Schools of Uttaranchal which would contain all details related to Professional courses available in various Colleges and Institutes in Uttaranchal.

Cultural activities are also part of the group and the famous Young Garhwali Singer Gajendra Rana is a member of the group who performs in cultural functions organized by the group.
