Fraddon

Fraddon is a small village in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Mebyon Kernow, the movement for Cornish self-determination is based there. Situated on the A30 just south of St. Columb Road. The busy A30 used to run through Fraddon itself but has now been bypassed.

Fraddon's The Blue Anchor Inn is alleged to have been the first stop the King's Messenger made on his journey to announce the victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in October 1805 Fact|date=June 2008.

Its Brewers Fayre, The Penhale Round, beside the A30 is saidFact|date=June 2008 to be built on the site of a prehistoric settlement (or in the least named after it) that has had evidence of occupation excavated dating back to Middle Bronze Age (circa 1300-900BC).
