Sohrab

Sohrab

Sohrab or Suhrab ( _fa. سهراب) was the son of Rostam, and Rostam was from Samangan who later married Thahamina daughter of Shah Kabul, "king of Kabul". In that time the ancient name of Afghanistan was Iran, Irna pronounce "err-na", Aryana. He fought Sohrab in Balkh, which is in Aghanistan.

This character is referenced to in The Kite Runner By Khaled Hosseini.
