Princessa (singer)

Princessa (singer)

Princessa is an African American female house music rapper/singer from New York City. Her real name is Pauline Bennett (she has also used the alias 'Jazzi P' at times). She was the featured artist on two singles by the Austrian house music band known as Bingoboys: the first was the song "How to Dance", which hit number one on the American dance chart in 1991; the second was a follow-up single, "Borrowed Love", which peaked at #32 on that chart the same year. She also did a guest appearance on Chic's 1992 number one club hit "Chic Mystique."

Bennett also performed a rap solo on Kylie Minogue's 1991 hit "Shocked".
