Aigialosaurus is an extinct genus of mosasauroid within the family Aigialosauridae. Its fossils have been found in Europe. It contains two species, Aigialosaurus dalmaticus and Aigialosaurus bucchichi.[1] Aigialosaurs were some of the oldest and most primitive ancestors of mosasaurs.
