Nikita the Tanner

Nikita the Tanner (Russian: Ники́та Кожемя́ка, sometimes called Cyril [Кирилл] or Elijah the Tailor [Илья Швец]) is a character in folklore of Kievan Rus, a town craftsman who released the daughter of a Kievan prince from the dragon's captivity. The oldest prototype on it could be found in Laurentian Chronicle.
