The capital of the county is Nishapur. At the 2006 census, its population (including portions of the county later split off from the county to form Firuzeh County) was 441,184, in 118,214 families; excluding those portions, the population was 384,355 in 103,882 families.[1]
The county includes the following four districts: Central District, Sarvelayat District, Zeberkhan District, and Miyan Jolgheh District.
The county includes the following six cities: Chekneh, Kharv, Darrud, Eshqabad, Qadamgah, and Nishapur.References
