The New York Texas Exes is the official alumni chapter in New York for the Texas Exes. The chapter is headquartered in New York City. The chapter covers the state of New York, but also draws heavily from alumni in northern New Jersey and southern Connecticut. Officially, chapter membership is around 6600, but with these additional inclusions, the total footprint grows to roughly 10,000. The chapter was the first official Texas Exes chapter outside the state of Texas. In addition to alumni events, the chapter provides scholarships to students from the North East that are attending The University.
