Masure (Marathi: मसुरे) is a village located in Malvan taluka of Sindhudurg district, southernmost district of Maharashtra, India, across coastal line. It is around 480 km from Mumbai.

Nearest railway station is Kankavli 30 km and Kudal 35 km.

The old name of Masure during Aadilshah period was Mahmoodabad. Many dargahs of Muslim saints are situated in masure. Most famus are of Hazrat Sayyed Ahmad Qadari Sajjad ul Bagdadi, Hazrat Lal Shah Wali. Dargah of Hazrat Sayyed Mustafa Qadari Sajjad ul Bagdadi is situated in Juva. Jama Masjid is situated at walking distance from the Dargah of Sayyed Ahmad Qadari

Masure also has a fort situated at eastern side . This fort is called BHARATGAD FORT. This fort is estimated to be 400 years old. But now it is been covered by dense trees and bushes. It is said that the fort was constructed during the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. However as time passed the fort went under the darkness of history.

Masure has plenty of small localities each locality is called a Wadi. One such famous place is Anganechi Wadi, place where Bharadi Devi's temple is situated; Deoolwada, as the name suggests you could visit temples of Maoolidevi, Bharateshwar, Dattatreya, Vetal, Ravalnath etc. Temple of goddess Pawnai is located nearby Masure Bus stand.

The village is well connected with Maharashtra State Transport buses to nearby villages and Taluka places; and is equidistant from Taluka heads like Kankavli, Malvan and Kudal. Surrounding villages are Achra, Bagayat, Bandivade and Kandalgaon.

Masure is flourished with agriculture and horticulture. Kava and Gad are the rivers which make Masure very fertile. Kava and Juva are the twin places situated on the banks of the Kava river, and is a mesmerizing place to visit. Another place to visit is Bhagavant gad, a fort, which was built in reign of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Local language of communication is Malvani.

The famous Anganewadi Jatra(Fair) which is held annually in the premises of the Bharadi Devi temple at Aangnechi wadi, is one of the wadis of Masure.

Additions to this beautiful houses constructed by sawant Family(Bhirawdekar's) so called Ganpat Niwas and Mahadev Niwas in Margachitad. A 100 year home where Goddess Shri Bhawani mata Resides in the same place.Every alternate year she comes as a part of Devicha gondhal and give blessing to all sawant family,friends and relatives. Also beside u will see a DWARKAI...home where all sawant family stays together. You can find only three houses where entire spiritual powers exit. A spiritual person by the name Swapnil devendra sawant is gifted with spiritual power long ago when he was 01 year old by shri Bhawani mata.
