David Huxley (born 4 February 1988) is an Australian semi-professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Adelaide Adrenaline in the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Playing career

David Huxley first played ice hockey for Adelaide Avalanche of the Australian Ice Hockey League in 2005. During his first season Huxley played 12 games and recorded one assist.[1] Huxley continued to play for the Avalanche until the team folded mid-way through the 2008 season. Huxley along with the rest of the team were transferred to the new Adelaide A's (now Adelaide Adrenaline) team which was formed to replace the Avalanche.[2]

Huxley was first called up to represent Australia in 2005 where he joined the national under-18 team to play at the 2005 IIHF World U18 Championships.[3] The following year he again played in the under-18 team to compete at the World Championships and also joined the national under-20 team to play at the 2006 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.[4][5] Huxley continued to represent Australia in the under-20 squad until 2009 where he moved up to join the national men's senior team to play at the Ice Hockey World Championships.[6] He has since represented Australia at the Ice Hockey World Championships on two other occasions.[7]
