Anthony Eugene Peeler (born
November 25, 1969in Kansas City, Missouri) is a former American professional basketballplayer, having played for a number of NBAteams from 1992 to 2005.
college basketballat the University of Missouri, Peeler was drafted 15th overall by the Los Angeles Lakersin the 1992 NBA Draft.
Since being drafted, Peeler also played for the then-Vancouver Grizzlies,
Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, and the Washington Wizardsaveraging 9.8 points per game throughout his NBA career.
While with Sacramento during the 2003-04 season, he led the league in
three-point field goalpercentage. During that season's playoffs, Peeler threw an elbow at former teammate Kevin Garnettand was suspended for the remainder of the series, which they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
