Corey Attaway (born April 26, 1988 in Chino, California) is an American soccer player.

Career

College and Amateur

Attaway played college soccer at University of California, Irvine where he won 2008 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District first team and All-Big West honorable mention. He also won Big West Fall All-Academic and Big West Scholar-Athlete three times each. Attaway was also a NSCAA 1st Team Scholar All-American, an ESPN The Magazine 3rd Team Academic All American, and Big West Scholar Athlete of the year in 2011.

Attaway also spent two seasons in the USL Premier Development League with the Orange County Blue Star.

Professional

On January 18, 2011, Attaway was drafted in the second round (29th overall) of the 2011 MLS Supplemental Draft by Seattle Sounders FC.[1]
