Georgetown University Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution

The Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution is a professional graduate degree in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University.

The two-year M.A. program is an intensive, theoretically- and practically-oriented, multidisciplinary degree. It is housed in the Government Department, with core courses offered also in the Department of Psychology and the McDonough School of Business. Elective courses may be selected from departments across campus, including courses in dispute resolution offered at the Georgetown University Law Center. The program seeks to build on and reinforce Georgetown University's traditional commitments to peace, outreach, and ethics.

The Director of the CR program is Professor Fathali Moghaddam, Ph.D. Dr. Moghaddam's research and teaching interests include psychological processes associated with inter-group conflict, collective aggression, perceived injustice (particularly human duties and rights), terrorism, culture and democracy, and policies for managing diversity.
