Church Farm Museum is a museum of local and agricultural history near Skegness, Lincolnshire, England.[1]

There are a number of traditional indigenous buildings, including:

  • A thatched "mud and Stud" cottage, moved from the nearby village of Withern.
  • The original 18th-century farmhouse.
  • 19th Century stable block
  • 19th Century cowshed

There are exhibitions of 19th and 20th century farm implements and machinery, and displays about traditional breeds such as the Red Poll cattle, and the Longwool Sheep. There are no beasts on site.

The museum is run by volunteers following its closure by Lincolnshire County Council. Opening daily from Easter to 31 October. Admission is free. The museum has twice taken top place in the council's own popularity poll of visitors attractions.[citation needed] In June 2010 it was announced that the Museum is to disappear this because Lincolnshire County Council Wanted to close the museum down, they claim falling visitor numbers.[2]

Church Farm Museum is now being re-branded as The Village - Church Farm since a local fire (of the mud and stud cottage) and cuts by Lincoln County Council.[3]
