“The Dress is Always Greener” is the 97th episode of the Disney Channel television series, "That's So Raven". It was written by Deborah Swisher and directed by Eric Dean Seaton. It is the nineteenth episode of the show’s fourth and final season and it aired on November 25, 2006 in the United States.

Plot

Raven is at a desk arranging flowers for Donna Cabonna and says to herself that Donna would love the flowers. Donna walks in and tells Raven that she should re-arrange the flowers all over again because they look terrible. Raven thinks that she did a very good job with the flower arrangement though.

Donna then tells Tiffany and Raven that her archenemy just made her office upstairs. She said that her name was Lora Stelladora and they had been competing since fashion school. She also says that she took away her boyfriend Mick Jagger and started going out with him. Then Lora walks into Donna's office and gives her a hug and kisses. As Lora and Donna are hugging each other they both stuck out their tongues as though they did not like each other. Lora starts talking about how boring Donna's office is and how the only thing that brought excitement to the office was the flower arrangement in there. Raven said that she arranged the flowers and Lora said that it would be great if Raven worked for her. Then Donna steps in and says that Raven is her intern. When it is time for Raven to go home, Lora grabs Raven from the elevator and takes Raven to her office.

Lora asks Raven if she wants a job as a fashion designer and Raven is about to accept when she then asks Lora if she should go talk with Donna about the decision. Lora said that talking to Donna wasn't necessary and that Raven would start work soon.

Raven then goes home and sees Chelsea and they both say they have good news for each other. Raven tells Chelsea about her new job with Lora. Then Chelsea tells Raven about Potato Head Abe (the potato that looks like Abraham Lincoln). Raven pretends to show interest by screaming, but then she asks Chelsea if she made the right decision by accepting the job without discussing with Donna. Chelsea asks Potato Head Abe what he thought about the situation.Then Raven had a vision of Donna Cabonna saying, "Raven, you're fired." Raven then tells Chelsea about her vision and then she says that tommorow she would go and quit before she got fired.

When Raven gets to work, she walks into Donna's office and Donna says she had something to say to her. Raven said that she also had something to say to her. They went back and forth about who would talk first and Donna said that she was sorry about the day before. Raven was about to say that she quits, but then Donna starts complimenting her about what a great job she is doing.

Raven leaves the office relieved that she wasn't fired and then her cell phone starts ringing. She picks it up and it was Lora telling her that she should come to work. Raven asks Tiffany if she could go and Tiffany said she could only go for 5 minutes and started counting. Raven rushed up the elevator to Lora's office.

Lora gives Raven an assignment to make a party dress for her. Raven starts designing and then Raven asks Lora if she could go in the elevator and design. Raven told Lora that she would be back there in 5 minutes.

When Raven gets back to Donna's office, Donna sees Raven and tells her that since Lora is there she needs to start stepping up her game. Donna then sees the party dress that Raven was designing for Lora. Donna sits Raven down and gives her advice about how to design the dress by adjusting the neck line and other things. She then tells Raven to start fleshing the dress. Raven says that she does her best fleshing in the elevator and then she asks Tiffany if she could go out for 5 minutes.

When Raven gets back to Lora's office she goes over to Lora and Lora says that she likes what she did with the neck line of the dress. Raven accidentally said that Donna did that, but then quickly said that it wasn't done yet so she need to go tweak it in the elevator.

When Raven is in the elevator she goes up to Donna's floor and tells Donna that she was tweaking the dress. Donna said that she thought Raven was fleshing and Raven said she was doing both and said it was called "fleaking". Donna then steps into the elevator without Tiffany. Then the elevator moves up to Lora's floor and Lora is standing at the elevator.

Lora and Donna start arguing about why Raven was working on each other's "party dress". Then Donna asks Raven if she was working for Lora behind her back and Lora asks the same thing. Donna then makes Raven's vision come true by telling her she was fired.

Then as the elevator was about start moving Donna pushed a button to make the elevator stop and make an alarm go off. Then they start and even bigger argument about how they have always been rivals. Then Lora says that that was why Mick Jagger started going out with her instead of Donna. Donna gets really upset and Raven starts saying, "Oooooh." Raven is also complaining about the lack of oxygen inside the elevator. They exchange remarks until Lora says that Ivan said that Donna said she had no talent. Donna said that Ivan told her that she had no talent. Donna and Lora then find out that Ivan was the one that caused their friendship to be destroyed. They then realize that it also helped them do better on their work.

Donna and Lora make up and start being friends again. Lora then invites Donna to see her office. Then a lady asks Raven if she was going down and Raven said way down.

The next day Raven comes back to Donna's office to pick up her stuff and Tiffany gave it to her already packed in a box. Tiffany then blew some confetti at Raven and said that she had a going away party for Raven. Raven is then called into Donna's office and Donna told Raven that she is head strong. Raven started to feel bad, but then Donna said that Raven was also talented. Then Raven tells Donna about what she thought and Donna gives Raven back her job. Raven starts shrieking and Tiffany is so upset that Raven got her job back.

Meanwhile, Cory, Chelsea, and Eddie have a potato that looks like Abraham Lincoln. Cory and Eddie then use the potato as a display to get people to pay $5 to see it. Chelsea gets upset and Cory and Eddie start throwing the potato around until it breaks. Chelsea screams about what they did to the potato. The next day Cory said that he found an oatmeal raisin cookie that looked like Vin Diesel and Chelsea said that they could use it to make money. Mr. Baxter walked in and Cory showed him the cookie and Victor ate it by accident.
