Principal Airlines

Is a Chilean airline dedicated to regional charter flights, which will take office in early 2007. Concentrate its operations during the summer in South America, demand for high season coincides with the usual period of vacation. Its first flight is scheduled for Jan. 11 of 2007.

The strategy aims to make non-scheduled flights, which are supplied to tour operators and travel agencies.

The ownership of the company is largely in the hands of the family Musiet associated with the Spanish group Futura International Airways, whose support is very important to realize the project.

The CEO is Carlos Musiet Talguía, son of Charles Musiet Harenque, who was the former founder of the defunct airline National Airlines in 1992.

History

The company is the Sept. 9 of 2003.

Involved Musiet family, led by Carlos Musiet Harenque and their children: Carlos, Fernando, Mauritius and Rolando.

For more than a year developed the project, and then get financing partners, in addition to handling the respective permits.

In November 2006 the company already has licenses to operate then just receiving the authorization technique that delivers the operational DGAC.
