Eugene Youth Symphony

Eugene Youth Symphony

The Eugene Youth Symphony is the major youth orchestra serving Eugene, Oregon and its outlying areas. It was founded in 1934 with the eventual goal of training young musicians for a professional symphony orchestra. In 1997, the Eugene Youth Symphony Organization changed its name to Arts Umbrella and began providing more programs in the arts, including classes in musical theater and jazz performance.
