Towy Boat Club

The Towy Boat Club "also known as Clwb Cychod y Tywi" is an RYA Certified sailing and watersports centre situated seven miles south of the historical market town Carmarthen on the river Towy.

History

The current boathouse opened in 1988 and has since been extended with new disabled changing facilities and a classroom.

Club Facilities

Members are able to use club owned dinghies and can store privately owned boats on site. The club also has a camping area, a kitchen with cooking facilities and heated showers available to members.

Sailing at Towy Boat Club

There is a slipway and jetty for launching and landing a sailing and motor dinghies. Races are regularly held over the summer period along with members of the Ferryside Boat Club.
