Profili Profili was a Serbian minimalistic experimental duo from Belgrade, notable as the participant of the "Artistička radna akcija" project in 1981.

History

The band Profili Profili was formed by Miodrag Stojanović Čeza (bass, vocals) and Slobodan Jeličić Jela (guitar, vocals). Their two songs, "Majke ih guraju u metalnim korpama" and "Nemir živaca" appeared on the "Artistička radna akcija" compilation in 1981.

During the same year, Stojanović and Jeličić, with Dragoslav Radojković Draža formed another band, Kazimirov Kazneni Korpus one hour before their first live appearance at Tašmajdan in Belgrade on the Aktuelna Beogradska Rock Scena festival. The band wrote one song during that time and played it for five times.

The two bands released a split album and released it only in 200 copies. The cassette was the first self-released album in former Yugoslavia. Each copy of the album had a different cover. After the release of the album, both bands ceased to exist. Radojković joined Laibach, Jeličić stopped performing and Stojanović continued working with other bands.

In 1986 with Stojanović, Radojković and Partibrejkers guitarist Nebojša Antonijević Anton formed the band Plaećnici. The band recorded six songs which appeared on the "Beogradski grafiti - Bad Boy Rock" which was released by Kopar label Slovenija. After a few live appearances, the band split up. Stojanović, with his wife, formed the band Viet-viet later renamed to Ritual.

With former Radnička Kontrola vocalist Srđan Marković Đile and former Šarlo Akrobata, Katarina II and Disciplina Kičme drummer Ivica Vdović Vd, Stojanović formed the band DDT which in 1992 and Vd's death evolved to Supernaut. With Supernaut, Stojanović released the studio album "Budućnost sada", released in 1993, live album "Live in Zombie Town" and left the band.
