Soldiers of the Right

Soldiers of the Right, also translated as Soldiers of Truth was a Lebanese militant Islamic organization which claimed responsibility for the assassination of prominent Belgian Jewish leader Joseph Wybran on 3 October, 1989. Wybran, an immunologist, was murdered in the parking lot of the Brussels hospital in which he worked. Though an organization calling itself "Soldiers of the Right" claimed responsibility, many at the time considered the attack the work of the Abu Nidal organization. In 2008, Moroccan Interior Minister Chakib Benmoussa stated his belief that a terrorist cell headed by Belgian-Moroccan Abdelkader Belliraj was responsible for the killing.
