Covers and cultural references

*It was used as a remix in the Crazy Frog album "Crazy Frog Presents Crazy Hits" but instead of saying "The Vengabus is coming" it is heard as "The Crazy Frog is coming".
*It is well-known for its use in the Six Flags "It's Playtime!" advertising campaign, and was the theme of the Mr. Six character.
*In the beginning of the song, the first three lines are almost the same to Billy Ocean's top hit "When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going".
*The song was used by Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Chase Utley, and inspired his traveling fan group "The Vengabus".
*An incorrect version of the song, as sung by Richard Marsland was used as a running gag on Australian radio show "Get This" for most of 2007.
