Alastair Hannay (born 1932) is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at the
University of Oslo . He was born inPlymouth ,England and has been a resident of Norway since 1961. He has written about and translated several works ofKierkegaard and is a Fellow of theRoyal Society of Edinburgh . His parents were Scottish.Bibliography
