Personal Protection Officer

Personal Protection Officers are officers of the London Metropolitan Police Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Department who are assigned for the personal protection of members of the Royal Family. The senior officer is the Queen's Police Officer. Members of the royal family who currently have twenty-four-hour protection are the Queen and Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Prince Edward, Lady Louise Windsor and the Princess Royal and her children.
