Hooked Bear

"Hooked Bear" is a 1956 short film in the "Humphrey the Bear" series.

Plot

Fishing Season has begun. J. Audubon Woodlore goes in a boat and gets fishes. Here's Humphrey the Bear playing with one fish. He uses a ruler to make fishes in sizes. Here's Humphrey the Bear playing with one fish. J. Audubon Woodlore gets more fish for fishing rods. Humphrey gets a fish bag, fishing rods, and a net. J. Audubon Woodlore takes them gets fish seeds to put in the water like soil. Humphrey's trying to eat the small fish but one fish jumps and Humphrey throws it. J. Audubon Woodlore makes a rainbow with fishes and Humphrey gets some fish with a small fish and J. Audubon Woodlore goes in a boat and uses a ruler and see if the fish is so small and hits Humphrey on the head and the boat scrathes Humphrey's head and Humphrey gets the fish and a fish balloon pops. Humphrey stubs his toe and says, "Ow-ow-ow!" and J. Audubon Woodlore holds two buckets of fish then Humphrey gets the hat from under the boat. Humphrey goes deep with his hat on and a fin is heading toward the five people and they run away from Humphrey with his hat on and takes his hat off and collects the fish bags and carries them to the fish airplane and poors the fish in. He gets one fish and J. Audubon Woodlore has dressed as a pilot ready to take the flight and the fish fall and Humphrey stubs his toe from the closing and the fish fall but Humphrey tries to eat them and he falls. J. Audubon Woodlore calls on the telephone and see if Fishing Season had it yesterday but J. Audubon Woodlore cuts the string with fishes on them and throws the fish out of the bucket and yells, "Fishing Season's over!" and draws an X on the "Fishing Season" sign and flips it over to the Hunting Season and it has begun for Humphrey.
