Boston Arts Festival

Boston Arts Festival

Officially named (ãhts): The Boston Arts Festival (employing the Boston accent), the Boston Arts Festival features a rich array of the visual and performing art that thrives in Boston. The festival features over 50 juried visual artists and showcases Boston’s contemporary arts scene. Housed in a custom-built artists’ village, these artists exhibit and sell their works of art, giving Boston residents and visitors a preview of the upcoming Boston Open Studios series. There is also a program of family-friendly activities including interactive painting led by the Mayor’s Mural Crew, glass-blowing demonstrations from Diablo Glass, and interactive art led by the Boston Children's Museum.

The event brings over 50,000 visitors to beautiful Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park, on Boston Harbor, where they can meet the artists and craftspeople who are there to share a wide variety of art and high-end craft work, including painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry and sculpture, and much more.
