Adămuş
Ádámos— Commune — Coordinates: 46°18′N 24°14′E / 46.3°N 24.233°E Country Romania County Mureş County Population (2002)[1] 5,966 Time zone EET (UTC+2) – Summer (DST) EEST (UTC+3) Adămuş (Hungarian: Ádámos; Hungarian pronunciation: [’aːdaːmoʃ]) is a commune in Mureş County, Romania. It is composed of six villages: Adămuş, Chinciuş, Corneşti, Crăieşti, Dâmbău and Herepea.
It formed part of the Székely Land region of the historical Transylvania province. Until 1918, the village belonged to the Maros-Torda County of the Kingdom of Hungary. After the Treaty of Trianon of 1920, it became part of Romania.
