To be determined

The phrase "to be determined" is used to label variables whose value is not yet known (for example, dates, times, or design details). It is frequently shortened to TBD in written correspondence.

The phrase "" is similar in nature, though that which is to be announced may have actually been determined, but not made public. In many cases, however, the phrases are used interchangeably.

For movies, the phrase "coming soon" is used in place of "TBD" or "TBA". This implies that the only widely known information about the movie is the title and when it comes out (either the year or the season and year, but never the date).
