Paper pallet

Paper pallets are shipping pallets made from paper. Although most pallets are made from wood, new construction methods have improved the capabilities of paper shipping pallets.

Advantages of paper pallets include:
*Lighter weight
*Disposable
*Recyclable
*Very flexible to adapt to special transport needs
*Meet IPPC requirements
*Meet international regulations on trade (ISPM)
*No fumigation
*Environmental Friendly
*Clean and dust free

Disadvantages of paper pallets include:
*Susceptible to moisture
*Lack stiffness compared to most other pallet materials

Paper shipping pallets come in corrugated paper (cardboard), partial wood decks or engineered with laminated paper. Many paper pallets use honeycomb decks to improve their load capacity.
