Pat Carroll (born November 11 1985 in Springfield, Virginia) is an American football (soccer) defender, currently playing for DC United in Major League Soccer.

Carroll played college soccer for the West Virginia University Mountaineers from 2004 to 2007, before being signed to a developmental contract by DC United on March 1 2008.

He made his full professional debut for DC on 1 July 2008, as a second half substitute in a US Open Cup third round game against Rochester Rhinos.cite news
