List of Caracas Metro stations

The Caracas Metro (referred as "El Metro" by locals) is a rapid transit system operating in Caracas, capital of Venezuela.

Below is a list of the Caracas Metro subway lines and the stations that they serve.

Line 1 (Orange)

From west to east:

*"Agua Salud" - Future point of transfer to Line 6.
*"Caño Amarillo"
*"Capitolio" - Point of transfer to Line 2.

*"Colegio de Ingenieros"
*"Plaza Venezuela" - Point of connection to Line 3 and Line 4.

*"Parque del Este" - Future point of connection to Line 4.
*"Los Dos Caminos" - Future point of trasfer to Line 6.
*"Los Cortijos"

Line 2 (Green)

From north-east to south-west:

*"El Silencio" - Point of transfer to Line 1.
*"Capuchinos" - Point of connection to Line 4.
*"Maternidad" - Point of connection to Line 4.
*"Artigas" - Point of connection to Line 4.
*"La Paz" - Point of connection to Line 4.
*"La Yaguara" - Point of connection to Line 4.
*"Carapita" - Point of connection to Line 4.
*"Antímano" - Point of connection to Line 4.
*"Mamera" - Point of connection to Line 4.
*"Caricuao"
*"Zoológico"
*"Ruiz Pineda" - West ramification serviced exclusively by Line 4.
*"Las Adjuntas" - Serviced exclusively by Line 4, - transfer station to (Los Teques Metro).

Line 3 (Blue)

From north-east to south-west:

*"Plaza Venezuela" - Point of connection to Line 1 and Line 4.
*"Ciudad Universitaria"
*"Los Símbolos"
*"La Bandera"
*"El Valle"
*"Los Jardines" - expected completion and service by 2008.
*"Coche" - expected completion and service by 2008.
*"Mercado" - expected completion and service by 2008.
*"La Rinconada" - IAFE rail station, both completed and in service.

Next phase (project). Begins as a west ramification from "El Valle station" to north on "San José station"

Line 4 (Red)

Construction works for next phase were initiated 18 March 2007 and expected to be completed by year-end 2011. Please note Line 4 was renamed and incorporated as part of Line 2 shortly after its inauguration.

*"Parque Central"
*"Zona Rental" - Point of connection with Line 1 and Line 3.

The following stations found in the City of Caracas are in construction under a project known as Guarenas / Guatire Metro.

*"Montecristo" - Point of transfer to line Line 1
*"Boleíta"
*"Horizonte"
*"La Urbina Sur"
*"La Urbina Norte" - Point of transfer to the Light Rail Service, Guarenas-Guatire

Los Teques Metro (Navy Blue)

*"Las Adjuntas" transfer station to Caracas Metro Line 4
*"Alí Primera" formerly "El Tambor" station

The following stations are in construction

* "Guiacaipuro" - projected completion date set for 2010
* "Miranda" - projected completion date set for 2010
* "Los Cerritos" - projected completion date set for 2012
* "Carrizal" - projected completion date set for 2012
* "Las Minas" - projected completion date set for 2012
* "San Antonio" - projected completion date set for 2012

Guarenas / Guatire Metro (Green Grass)

The following stations are in construction

*"Guarenas I" - projected completion date set for 2012
*"Guarenas II" - projected completion date set for 2012
