Tri-ism

Tri-ism

= What is Tri-ism? =

Tri-ism is a belief system that focuses around faith in the "“Three Personalities Theory”". This theory states that every single person has three different personalities whose struggle for control make them who they are. It is a branch off of Unitarian Universalism.

How Tri-ism formed

Tri-ism was founded by a man named "Patrick J Wilson". At first Tri-ism was merely a theory of his; which was conceived by him and a close friend of his. However, he believed that this theory was what was needed to finally understand human behaviour. He took this theory of his and made his own branch off of Unitarian Universalism [Unitarian Universalism] .
He put his faith into this theory, and without haste began teaching others about it. It was his hope that all would eventually hear of this amazing realization, and benefit from it.

Beliefs

• Everyone has three personalities: The positive, the negative, and the neutral.
• The three personalities are always struggling for control, which gives everyone a different balance of the three.
• Indecision happens when none of the personalities have the upper hand.
• The neutral personality is the side everyone directly sees.
• There are no “mistakes” in life, just bad control of the negative personality.
• Multiple personality disorder happens when the personalities refuse to acknowledge each other.
• We must seek the perfect balance of our personalities to be able to become “good” people.

Tri-ism and the world around you

Without knowing about our three personalities we wouldn’t be able to fully understand why some people seem to do “random” things that are out of character. They aren’t doing anything different; we just haven’t seen that personality at work yet!

Tri-ism helps us understand ourselves as well. We sometimes may ask ourselves “Why did I do that?” The reason why we don’t understand some of our own actions is because we aren’t yet “in tune” with our personalities; or they haven’t finished developing as individuals.

By understanding that "“all make three: three make one”" we can fully discover ourselves, and everyone else around us. Tri-ism brings understanding in a world of confusion.

The Icon

The icon for Tri-ism depicts our three personalities as connected, but still with their own uniqueness.

Rules

The purpose of Tri-ism is to seek understanding and to perfect oneself. Certain rules must be followed to attain that.

1. Don’t judge someone until you have seen all three sides.
2. Tri-ism is about understanding, so a Tri-ist can believe whatever they choose to believe [ [http://www.uucpa.org/visitors/beliefs.html Unitarian Universalist Beliefs ] ] ; no personality
balance is the same, so no balance of beliefs is the same.
3. Share the knowledge; to be a Tri-ist you must be a sharer of Tri-ism.

Seeking better balance

Finding balance is the life-long goal of all Tri-ists. Our three sides are always competing for control, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Balance is not about making all equal, it’s about taking turns with your personalities. Why is that? Everything in this world has an opposite; light and dark, up and down, light and heavy.

Without opposites there wouldn’t be a balance; likewise with our personalities. We have the positive on one side, and the negative on the other. Neutral is in the middle, and is the side everyone sees on a daily basis, until either the positive or the negative sway it or simply takes control. Once we figure out what each personality is like we can identify when each one is exerting itself.

Once that happens we can teach ourselves to direct when each makes an appearance, thus allowing us to use all three as one; as it should be.
