ICS Marketing Support Services started in July 1990 as a 5-person
data processing and service, later expanding to other support services. Based in Lansing,Michigan , ICS now has approximately 50 employees working with over 150 clients each month, serving both big and small businesses coast-to-coast.A few months after opening its doors, ICS landed its first big deal with Foremost Insurance, providing
data mining services to build customer loyalty. Soon after, ICS realized its potential to expand business with other services, and began the GM Calendar Program fulfillment in November of the same year.In 1993, ICS helped the
American Cancer Society by organizing thedonor communications and phone solicitations, which helped them manage thecall center in the Midwest Section of the US.By 1998, ICS was again looking to expand, and addedinformation technology , online surveying, and inventory software to its growing list of services. ICS first started to offermarket research in 2000, and in 2002 they took on projects such as email lists andemail marketing .ICS first started working withTwo Men and a Truck in late 2004 by automating and updating their existingsurvey process, and still manage their mailings today.Currently, ICS works on similar projects and manage
NCOA (National Change of Address) for the majority of its clients. They also provide services for add agencies working with automotive companies such asHyundai by supplying marketing resources such asDirect Marketing .The company started to have mixed feelings about its long-time mascot, nicknamed "Icky", and in 2007, Icky retired.
