Baron Queenborough

Baron Queenborough

Baron Queenborough, of Queenborough in the County of Kent, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1919 for the Conservative politician Almeric Hugh Paget, who had previously represented Cambridge in the House of Commons. He was the youngest child of General Lord Alfred Henry Paget, fifth son of Henry William Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey. The title became extinct on Lord Queenborough's death on September 22, 1949.

His first wife was Pauline Payne Whitney (born March 21, 1874 – November 22, 1916), was an American heiress and a member of the prominent Whitney family.

His second wife was another American, Edith Starr Miller, known for her posthumously published two volume encyclopedia of European secret societies called "Occult Theocrasy", which implied that synarchy was being practiced in the family she married into and its close relations.
