The Muffed Helmet is also known as the Polish helmet or Kryska Polska on account of its origins. [ [http://www.aviphilia.com/index.php?id=121&L=1 Page 3 ] ] It is a breed of fancy pigeon, specifically a type of Helmet pigeon, that has been developed over many years of selective breeding. It is distinctive on account of its "Muff" (large foot feathers), and is colored only on the top half of its head (the "helmet") and on its tail.
