Joe Thomas (actor)

Joe Thomas is an English actor who stars in the E4's comedy "The Inbetweeners" as Simon Cooper. [ [http://www.comedy.org.uk/guide/tv/inbetweeners/ The Inbetweeners - Sitcom - British Comedy Guide ] ]

Thomas attended King Edward VI Grammar School in Chelmsford and grew up in the neighbouring village of Writtle. He is the eldest of four brothers.

Thomas and Simon Bird performed in House of Windsor and were both in the Cambridge Footlights. Thomas and his writing partner Jonny Sweet, whom he met during his Cambridge years, performed together on the Project V [ [http://www.project-v.net/blog/jonnyjoe Jonny and Joe Joe Thomas - Project V ] ] – an internet comedy show.

He staged along with Bird in his first hour-long comedy show at the Edinburgh Festival in 2006 and this staged received excellent reviews.
