Toon Boom Studio (often called TBS or Studio) is an animation software developed and distributed by Toon Boom Animation. Since its introduction in 2001, Studio has become a popular tool among hobbyists, creative professionals and schools to create animation for home projects, advertisements, educational material, and animated shorts.

Studio is fully vector based and can handle bitmap images. It can be used to create traditional animation, cut-out or a combination of the two. Studio runs on Mac and PC.

Toon Boom Studio Importer

The Toon Boom Studio Importer (TBSi) for Adobe Flash MX, MX 2004, 8 Adobe Flash 9 CS3 is a plug-in that will let users import Toon Boom Studio projects directly into Adobe Flash. Once the animation is created within Studio, it is possible to import the project straight into Flash, preserving the layer information and adding interactivity wherever needed.
