Know All

Know All is the tenth episode of the first season of Round The Twist. a Children's television series from Australia.

Plot

Whilst watching the view from the lighthouse, the Twist kids discover an old trunk floating towards the beach. They all run down to investigate. Pete and Linda lift the trunk from the water as Bronson supervises.The kids bring the trunk back up to the lighthouse, where Tony helps them to open it. Inside is a variety of old circus clothes. Linda takes the Lady Clown's outfit, Pete opts for the Gymnast, Bronson goes for the ringmaster and Tony is left with the fortune teller. They also dress their old scarecrow with the spare clown costume. The Twists' soon discover that their costumes possess amazing powers, enabling them to perform what their circus counterparts must have done many years ago. Also, the scarecrow that they dressed up comes to life while Linda is home alone. Terrified, Linda hides from the scarecrow, who is seemingly chasing her. Meanwhile, Pete and Bronson are out asking Nell if she knows anything about the costumes.Nell explains to them that the costumes belong to an old circus, where the stars were the Lady and Man Clowns. The Man Clown was in love with the Lady Clown, but she left the circus and died.Nell, Pete and Bronson run back to the house to find Linda still battling out with the scarecrow/clown. Nell instructs Linda to take her costume off. As she does, the clown realises that Linda is not his long lost love, and gives up the chase. The kids and Tony sympathise for the sad clown, and dress a mannequin in the clown costume, bringing it to life and reuniting the clowns and lovers once more.
