Hyndburn Council election, 2008

Elections to Hyndburn Council were held on 1 May, 2008. One third of the council was up for election and the Conservative party stayed in overall control of the council. The Conservative party made the only gain of the election, taking Altham ward from the Labour party to extend their majority to three.
