gephyrin
Peripheral membrane protein of the cytoplasmic face of the glycinergic synapses in the spinal cord. Appears at developing postsynaptic sites before the glycine receptor and may therefore be important in clustering. Thought to interact with the glycine receptors and also with microtubules.
