gastrin-releasing peptide
A regulatory peptide (27 amino acids) thought to be the mammalian equivalent of bombesin. It elicits gastrin release, causes broncho-constriction and vasodilation in the respiratory tract, and stimulates the growth and mitogenesis of cells in culture.
