gamma-delta cells
(= gd-T-cells)
Lackie Lineage of T-cells possessing the gd form of the T-cell receptor. Appear early in development and constitute around 5% of mature T-cells in peripheral lymphoid organs. May be the predominant form at epithelial surfaces. Most have neither CD4 nor CD8.
