ELAM-1
(= CD62E; E-selectin)
One of the selectin family; upregulated on endothelial cells at sites of inflammation and partly responsible for trapping of neutrophils. The C-type lectin domain binds sialylated Lewis X and a particular glycoform of ESL-1 that is present on myeloid cells.
