cortactin
A p80/85 protein first identified as a substrate for src kinase. An F actin binding protein that redistributes to membrane ruffles as a result of growth factor-induced Rac1 activation. Has proline-rich and SH3 domains. Overexpression of cortactin increases cell motility and invasiveness.
