stem-nodulating rhizobia
Rhizobia (members of the genera Rhizobium, Bradyrhizobium, and Azorhizobium) that produce nitrogen-fixing structures above the soil surface on plant stems. These most often are observed in tropical plants and produced by Azorhizobium.
