digestive tract
alimentary canal (the passage through which food passes and is digested and absorbed; includes the mouth, oesophagus, stomach, intestine and anus. Also called alimentary tract and gut, although the latter might be more restrictive being areas of chemical processing and absorption only and not manipulation as with mouth and oesophagus and associated structures)
