- Oxytetracycline A tetracycline antibiotic used for the treatment of chronic bronchitis, brucellosis, chlamydial infections, and infections caused by mycoplasmas and rickettsias. Tetracyclines act by inhibiting protein synthesis in sensitive organisms.
