Hypogaeic Hyp`o*g[ae]"ic, a. [Pref. hypo- + Gr. gai^a, gh^, earth.] (Chem.) Pertaining to, or obtained from, the peanut, or earthnut ({Arachis hypog[ae]a}). [1913 Webster]
